Season of the Witch Performance Documentation

Live Art Ireland presented an opportunity for artists to explore the intersection of movement, magic, and collective creativity.

This was a durational group performance with Workshop Facilitators Frances Mezzetti, Tess Wood and Beth Greenhalgh alongside Vicky Roden, Olivia Hassett, Megan Scott, Dilge Dilsilz, Sarah Andrew, Marianne Marcotte, Bushra Arabawi, Maria May, Lara Quinn, Jon McMahon and Andrew Galvin.

The performance explored ritual, gesture, deep listening and spell-making. Rooted in the shifting energies of dusk and dawn; it drew on practices of embodied movement, dreamwork, elemental ritual and improvisation.

Season of the Witch is about queering witchcraft, expanding ritual practices and shaping new forms of spell work rooted in resistance, tenderness and transformation.
