All Ireland Solstice Gathering

Live Art Ireland is delighted to announce the All Ireland Solstice Gathering, taking place over the weekend of the 20th and 21st June in the midlands of Ireland.

The gathering opens on Saturday 20th June with a symposium at the Black Mills Centre in Roscrea, followed by a performance art jam. All are welcome to take part or to come along and watch. A second event will follow on Sunday 21st June at a location to be confirmed nearer the date.

We warmly invite attendees to stay with us at Live Art Ireland for the weekend. A limited number of rooms are available in the house, and there is plenty of space for camping in the grounds. If you’d like to stay in the house, please book in advance by emailing live.art.ireland@gmail.com, as rooms will be allocated on a first-come basis.

The solstice marks a turning point in the year. A threshold of light, gathering, and shared presence. We can think of no better way to mark it than in the company of artists and friends from across the island, and we look forward to welcoming you.
