Claudia Barton
On 24 February 2026 by Deej_Fabyc1Claudia Barton is a transdisciplinary artist and composer. Her background is in place-responsive performance, sympoiesis, field-recordings, eco-acoustic composition, the voice, ballads and plant lore. Her work is described as Hauntological. She has toured in Japan, Russia, the US, Australia and much of Europe and the UK as a torch-singer-lyricist and experimental theatre practitioner. She is associate artist with Curious Performance and part of artist collective in Cork The Guesthouse. Claudia was born in Greenwich, London, and moved to west Ireland in 2018. Since then she has been specialising in sound art, vocal experiments and improvisation in communities, with environmental justice orientation.
