Thomas Reul is interested in situation-specific and action-oriented interactions and dialogues with materials and everyday perceptual experiences. These processes often take place within the context of collaborative performances. The challenge lies in finding a form of communication that maintains the individual rhythms, intentions, and perceptions within the situation.
Thomas lives and works in Essen and Cologne. His work has been shown in Asia, Europe, and South America. He organizes various projects and events, is a performance documentary photographer, and has been an active member of PAErsche Aktionslabor eV since 2015.
