On 19 October 2023 by Deej_Fabyc1My heart divided, indoors, outside doors.
Indoors:
The colors of the walls, the objects full of stories, the butterflies fluttering throughout the house,
the creaking of the stairs, the light from the windows… A wealth of stimuli for the imagination. So
many stimuli feed my madness, my creativity, my hyperactive mind.
This is how I begin to work on the unfolding of my body, the need to be more than one at the
same time. Exploring with the body, movement and landscapes that create the colorful walls of
Milford House.
Outside doors:
The trees are dressed in green, the moss covers their roots and the ivy weaves a dress to the
branches. The grass shines with the morning dew, mirrors of water on the ground, the sound of
birds, raindrops or the silence of the sun’s rays invade my heart feeling the need to merge my
body with this very nature. virgin and so beautiful. My work seeks to give voice to a nature that
asks for help, invaded by plastic, asphalt, smoke.Reconnecting with our roots.
Emma Regada, multidisciplinary artist, focused mainly on sculpture and performance. She
began developing her creativity in Andorra, her country of origin, and she trained at the School
of Fine Arts at the University of Barcelona where she discovered her two passions, sculpture
and performance that she developed simultaneously. .
Regada works on improvisation, the search for stimuli through the body as a tool to hybridize
materials and disciplines such as painting, sculpture, poetry or music. A hyperactive mind, in
constant research, collaborating with different artists and contexts. She has participated in the
SWAB Festival (Barcelona 2015), “Peso” Isobaras performance festival (2017 Barcelona).
“Terra” IV festival of contemporary art Comartpedrosa (2018 Andorra), “En clau de cello”
(Andorra, 2022), “Clandestina” for Women’s Day (2023)
In her latest works, nature has a great role, searching for the most ancestral part of it “Aigua,
source of life” (Andorra, 2022), Multiversos (Andorra 2023)
