Live Art Ireland with p(art)y Here and Now, presents CONVERGENCE A BORDERLESS ROMANCE 2025. from 8-10 of August
This is an an art and music festival like no other bringing together the latest in live art practice with local and national musicians and a range of workshops, aiming to celebrate and promote diverse artistic talents from around the world. It serves as a platform for artists to showcase their innovative works and foster cross-cultural exchange. With this in mind, we have curated a lineup that represents artistic excellence from various corners of the globe.
We are calling for proposals for solo or artist collective performances that will be taking place at Live Art Ireland’s Ealaín Bheo Centre for Art Research and Development here in North Tipperary on the 8th or 9th of August 2025. Artists selected are invited to come here as artists in residence with accommodation provided for up to three weeks before the event in August in order to make the work site specific. We are asking artists to consider borders and boundaries , of the body, of countries, of genders, of topography or from an ecological perspective. We are looking for new works created for the event that may be site specific. Please send a short Bio. of no more than 200 words
Please send 1 high quality 300 dpi image of a performance made in within the past two years
Please send 3 links to an online source to view your work (Websites or instagram etc.)
Please send an outline of your proposed performance – (Please Note This Must be a New Work) 250 Words MAX.
