Sophia Tamburrini is a visual artist working in the fields of Moving Image, Writing and Photography. Exploring themes of memory, legacy and loss, her work is driven by a desire to collaboratively investigate these subject matters through the sensory interplay of sound and image. Her work has been exhibited internationally and is funded by the Arts Council, Screen Ireland, Dublin City Council and Culture Ireland. She was the recipient of Dun Laoghaire Arts Council’s inaugural Emerging Filmmaker Award.
